Do I need to be an Accredited Investor to invest?

Yes, you must be an Accredited Investor to invest on Augment.

In the US, an individual Accredited Investor is someone who meets at least one of the following:

  • Earned income exceeding $200,000 (or $300,000 combined with a spouse or spousal equivalent) in each of the prior two years, and reasonably expects the same for the current year

  • Net worth over $1 million, alone or combined with a spouse or spousal equivalent, excluding the value of their primary residence

  • Holds a valid Series 7, 65, or 82 license in good standing

If you reside outside of the US, eligibility is determined by your local jurisdiction. Requirements typically relate to net worth, income, or sophisticated investor status.
